Woody and warm
Chandan is sandalwood: soft, creamy and woody, the most loved fragrance for daily puja. If you only buy one, start here.
Kesar Chandan adds a sweet, rich note of saffron to sandalwood. It feels festive and works well for special days and for gifting.
Resinous and temple-like
Loban comes from benzoin resin. It is sweet, warm and slightly vanilla-like, and is traditionally burned in the evening.
Guggal is a natural tree resin with a smoky, earthy fragrance. It is the smell many people remember from temples and havans.
Floral
Mogra is Indian jasmine: fresh, sweet and bright. Lovely for summer evenings and for anyone who prefers flowers over wood.
Rose is soft and romantic, and Lavender is gentle and calming, a popular choice for bedrooms and for winding down at night.
Herbal and fresh
Tulsi is holy basil: green, fresh and slightly peppery, a natural fit for morning prayers.
Rich and deep
Musk is warm, deep and long-lasting. Javadhu is a traditional South Indian perfume used in temples, rich and musky.
